It does not have air-conditioning and the building itself is old. But the nicer dorms (especially any with AC) will cost a good bit more, and I would avoid an LLC (living learning community) if you’re in engineering. I did Galileo my freshman year (in Lee hall, now called Hoge) and both the dorm and LLC setup itself were not great.
