The damage after a short leveling-up session increased exponentially, I'm just a level off of reaching 1,500 a hit. Either way, I am super happy I got to tame one. Thanks for the information.

Darts are for low HP and flying dinos. Crossbows do too much damage to the weak dinos and flyers due to the damage modifier.
