I'm going to say I've gotten bad CC a few times, and I've had an ad on CC site attack my computer with a trojan... none of that was from TSR (minus one piece of bad CC... in the HUNDREDS I've downloaded). It may take a little longer since the game needs to make new folders and standard files, but when you shut down the game now you will have a new “vanilla” user folder with only standard files in there.
