WebJan 13, 2024 · A workaround seems to be not using the regular mute button in Teams but instead using the small microphone button in the device settings of the meeting. Audrey says "Mute on" and after a few seconds "Mute off". No more beeping afterward. That worked for me and apparently for some other users with the same issue.
