WebMay 16, 2024 · Use a blank USB flash drive with at least 5 GB of free space. Once you're done, boot from the recovery drive and select Repair your computer > Command Prompt. Type chkdsk /r c: then press Enter. Restart the device afterwards with the recovery drive unplugged.
